Cast Property
The Cast property was generated in 2021 utilizing the same methodology that resulted in the discovery of the adjacent Catch property. Extensive phyllic alteration and the same quartz vein textures are present at both Cast and Catch's recently discovered high-grade gold Amp Zone being drill tested in Q2 2025. Strong molybdenum, copper, arsenic and gold soil anomalism suggests a mineralized porphyry system is likely close by.
South-Central Yukon, 50-km from Carmacks, 10-km from highway
500 Hectares, 25 Quartz Claims
Helicopter Accessible
Porphyry (Copper-Gold) & Epithermal
Key Facts
-
Early-stage exploration project in underexplored northern extension of Stikine Terrane along strike of Catch property
-
Pervasive phyllic alteration and intense oxidation suggests causative intrusion is nearby
-
Strong, open-ended geochemical anomalism (300 ppm Cu, 42 ppm Mo, 2315 ppm As, 27 ppb Au in soil) across a broad area remains open for follow-up
-
Excellent geology akin to British Columbia's Toodoggone District
Project Summary
-
The 5 sq. km, 100%-owned Cast property is located 50 km southeast of Carmacks & 10 km from highway and grid power in south-central Yukon.
-
The project is accessible via helicopter and lies within the Traditional Territory of the Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation.
-
The claims were staked in 2021 using the same methodology that generated the Catch property, discovered by Burke in 2020.
Regional Geology
The Property lies within the Stikine Terrane, adjacent to a large flexure along the 1,000+ km long Teslin-Thibert fault. The Teslin-Thibert’s southern extension terminates near the Kemess-Toodoggone porphyry-epithermal district. The Stikine is characterized by Late Triassic to early Jurassic volcanic-plutonic arc complexes host to porphyry-epithermal systems including the Red Chris, Schaft Creek, Kemess-Toodoggone, KSM and Galore Creek deposits and mines.
Property Geology
-
Cast covers a 5.5-km long strand of the Teslin-Thibert fault with multiple secondary structures along strike and adjacent to the Catch property.
-
Structural intersections on the property represent escape conduits of deep-seated faults in the area.
-
Strong, pervasive alteration and oxidation is abundant across the entirety of the property.
-
Compelling epithermal vein textures suggests continuity of the emergent Catch high-grade gold epithermal vein system to north, highlighting strength of the underlying associated mineralizing system.
Historical Exploration
Limited historical work consisting of stream sediment, rock and soil sampling was conducted in 2002 and 2013 on the Troll claims. Cast is a brand-new grassroots target in an underexplored prospective northern extension of the Stikine Terrane.
Modern Exploration
Limited exploration was conducted in 2022, 2023 and 2024 which included geochemical surveys and geological mapping, resulting in:
-
Delineation of multi-element soil anomalies
-
Identification of rock units on the property that differ from the regional geological map

Mineralized Zones
-
Further work is required to follow-up on early stage soil anomalies in order to discover mineralization on the property. Follow-up work is warranted.
Future Work
Future work recommendations on the property include a drone magnetic survey, geological mapping, and additional prospecting. Further stream sediment sampling outboard of the property boundary is also recommended.
